One survey of people who took larger doses of psilocybin mushrooms showed that two-thirds claimed it was one of their most significant experiences in their lives. Although these formulas are microdoses, and not going to create an immediate “spiritual experience,” psilocybin can rewire neurological pathways, and it’s perhaps no wonder that many users report an increased sense of spirituality. And because it reduces anxiety, helping people feel more relaxed, and promotes mental clarity and focus, it can allow for more meditation and reflection.
In addition, studies show that combining psilocybin along with meditation can create lasting transformative effects. The studies show that psilocybin enhances meditation, and also that meditation enhances the effects of the psilocybin. All in all, psilocybin and meditation is a wonderful and effective combination.
In this formula, 100 mg of psilocybin mushrooms are combined with 4 other plant medicine extracts to promote relaxation, mental clarity and a sense of spirituality…Blue Lotus, Pedicularis, L-Theanine and Ashwagandha.

Psilocybin is a psychedelic compound from the tryptamine grouping, found in at least 100 different types of mushrooms. TruBlu Micromycos Formulas incorporate the mushroom Cubensis psilocybe, the most common source of psilocybin.
Psilocybin mushrooms have been used for literally tens of thousands of years for their healing properties, traditionally taken in large doses for their psychedelic effects and facilitation of spiritual healing and growth.
The idea and practice of microdosing psilocybin is a very recent phenomenon, based on scientific research conducted over the past several decades and on social studies compiled much more recently. The subsequent data shows that microdosing psilocybin can support people with depression, anxiety, mental or cognitive issues, and clearing addiction, and quite possibly helps with neuro-plasticity, and neuro-genesis. Microdosing has been widely reported to increase creativity, positivity, motivation, empathy and a sense of spiritual connectivity.

Known in Latin as Hericium erinaceus, Lion’s Mane is native to North America, Europe and Asia, and is sometimes referred to as Hedgehog Mushroom, Yamabushitake or Houtou. It has been used for possibly millennia as a medicinal mushroom, especially in Traditional Chinese Medicine and in Japan.
Probably the most thoroughly researched feature of Lion’s Mane mushroom is its effect on brain cells and related functions. This incredible fungus may have a revolutionary impact on neurodegenerative diseases.
One way Lion’s Mane affects brain function is through neurogenesis and the stimulation of Nerve Growth Factor in the brain and body, increasing neurite outgrowth in the brain and related organs, which is the growth of axons and dendrites from neurons.
By increasing this growth, it could be possible to slow or reverse cell degeneration in the brain. One study found that consuming Lion’s Mane mushroom could actually regenerate damaged cells from peripheral nerve injury. Other studies show that Lion’s Mane can improve memory and cognitive function.
As an adaptogen, this incredible fungi has also scientifically been shown to fights cancer, supports the heart and circulatory health, improves digestive health, reduces inflammation, speeds wound healing, reduces depression and anxiety, improve immune function, adjust circadian rhythms, and support quality of sleep.

Blue Lotus, Nymphaea caerulea, is a type of water lily that is native to Egypt. It grows in wet soil surrounding lakes and rivers and is widespread along the banks of the Nile. The ancient Egyptians considered the Blue Lotus sacred. It was often depicted in architectural design, on papyrus depictions and as a motif in tombs. Assumed to have been regularly consumed by the ancient Egyptians, Blue Lotus is known to be a euphoric plant medicine with a number of healing properties.
While there have not been many studies done into the constituents and properties of Blue Lotus, there is much anecdotal information supporting its use, most often to induce a relaxed and happy state of being. Egyptians were said to have steeped it in wine and drank it for socializing and for ceremonies. Many people report feelings of centeredness, openness, euphoria and a sense of spiritual connectivity from using Blue Lotus.
Other documented properties and uses of Blue Lotus, some of which have been scientifically studied, include aphrodisiac, anti-inflammatory, anti-spasmodic, anti-anxiety, sleep aid, dream enhancement, skin-care, protecting the heart, erectile dysfunction and hormone regulation.
Its two most well-known constituents, apomorphine and nucipherine, have both been scientifically researched. Apomorphine has been used since the late 1800’s to treat depression, insomnia, schizophrenia and erectile dysfunction. More recently it is utilized as a treatment for Parkinson’s disease. Nuciferine also appears to have anti-psychotic effects, and may also benefit conditions such as neuropathic pain, fibromyalgia, and depression.

Pedicularis densiflora, commonly known as Indian Warrior or Warrior Plume, is a plant medicine introduced to Natural Medicine by Native American traditions, used for its muscle-relaxing and emotionally calming properties. Related species have also been used in Chinese medicine.
Besides its strong muscle-relaxing ability, Pedicularis acts as a tranquilizer, offers a mild euphoria, relieves anxiety and tension, and treats insomnia and joint pain.
While very little scientific studies have been done with this plant medicine, research suggests that Pedicularis possesses nootropic, antitumor, anti-oxidatant, and antibacterial properties, and it can protect the liver and red blood cells.

L-theanine (also called theanine, or sometimes r-glutamylethylamide) is an amino acid extracted from green tea that has been shown to reduce stress and promote relaxation while increasing mental clarity, focus, creativity and retention.
L-Theanine works by increasing alpha brain waves (α-waves), which are associated with creative thinking, calm focus, and mental clarity. Alpha brain waves, for example, are heightened when you meditate or are deeply focused on your work. This amino acid is one of the only nootropic compounds known to have this special ability to modulate your brain waves. The result of these effects is that L-Theanine will make you feel calm yet more alert at the same time, making retaining knowledge and learning new information much easier. Having higher alpha brain waves also promotes feelings of peace and joy.
L-Theanine also supports brain health as it stimulates the release of neurotransmitters, including dopamine, serotonin, and GABA, while increasing the production of Nerve Growth Factor (NGF) and Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor (BDNF), both of which stimulate neuro-genesis, the creation of new brain cells. At the same time, it protects the brain from the potentially harmful effects of the excitatory neurotransmitter glutamate, by binding to its receptors, potentially preventing cognitive decline, brain and mental disorders, strokes, and damage that might be caused by a stroke.

Ashwagandha, botanically named Withania somnifera, is also known as Indian ginseng, Indian winter cherry. Ashwagandha is a powerful adaptogen originally founded in Ayurvedic medicine and as such it has been used for at least 2,500 years for its thyroid-modulating, neuroprotective, anti-anxiety, antidepressant and anti-inflammatory properties.
Some of the many scientifically proven uses for Ashwagandha include decreasing inflammation and protecting against oxidative damage, fighting cancer, reducing stress and anxiety, improving depression, improving cognitive function, lowering cortisol levels, balancing thyroid hormones, strengthening the immune system, enhancing stamina and physical performance, building muscle strength, treating adrenal fatigue, improving sleep quality, normalizing blood sugar, lowering cholesterol and triglycerides, helping prevent heart disease and stroke, and managing ADHD.
This TruBlu Micromycos Formula uses an Ashwagandha extract called Sensoril, made from carefully selected roots and leaves, purified and clinically-tested. Sensoril is specifically high in the Glycowithanolides constituent, believed to be great for sleep and stress management. Most people report Sensoril as having a calming effect, which really supports the purpose of this formula.
